Pallant House Gallery

For my Pallant House work experience I am going to create a video which show cases some of their exhibitions. My target audience is young people so I will have to find things to take inspiration from that target people my age.

What I am thinking is some sort of beat no too trap style but a sort of chill beat to have the photos playing over. I have a lot of photos from the gallant house trip so I will not be able to fit all of them in however,

I have looked at a few chill type beats and I think this one is the best for this as it isn't too trap style but its a calm loft chill beat which I think goes with the gallery vibe quite well. I wanted to choose music that was copyright free and that would interest a lot of teens and young people and this is a great example I think of some music for it. The bet isn't fast yet isn't slow and. keeps an interesting pace.

Something I want to do is make the photos move to the beat so, the way I would probably it is zoom in on. the photos and then zoom out to make it like the photos are shaking to the beat.

What I have done here is cut the photos frame by frame and changed the scale of the photos in every frame to make them zoom out. This is quite time consuming.

Annoyingly I remembered about key framing things after already doing what I have done above. Luckily I didn't do that much of what I have done above as I did remember keyframes. What I did was I cut a short section of video the shortest ones are about 4 frames, I then scale

them to about 150 (unless they are portrait as I would've already scaled them up so with portrait ones I scale them up 50 more than what they already are) and put the start of the cut at 150 and then near the end I put it to about 110 (or 40 less for portrait photos) and it will then zoom out for me so I don't have to cut every frame.

Here I got a screenshot of the Pallant house gallery logo from their homepage on their website.

Using this I turned the logo into a png image to put into my video in the top right corner.

This work experience has helped me schedule things as we had to plan the times we would work on this project and it is very useful as you actually have time to plan other things around it. It was a lot easier to plan other things knowing my schedule for this. I found this useful and I will probably use schedules for my college work in the future.

One thing I found quite hard was coming up with an idea this took quite a while as I had to figure out what software to use for what and I eventually chose Premier Pro, however, I didn't know how to make an intriguing. video with photos and how to make it something other than a slideshow. I had a few tests of ideas and eventually came up with the music idea.

The video took a lot longer than I thought it would as it doesn't look like much but it actually took a pretty long time as it was very time consuming.
